Bjørnsletta is a station on the Kolsås Line (line 6) between Åsjordet and Lysakerelven of the Oslo T-bane. It is located in the Ullern borough. Along with Frøen, Bjørnsletta is one of only two stations on the subway network which lacks step-free access to the platform. ["Rutebok for Oslo", Consolidated schedule for Oslo] . The station was opened June 15 1942 when the line from Røabanen to Jar was completed. The area around Bjørnsletta is mainly residential. After the opening of the line after renovation, Bjørnsletta and Lysakerelven will be replaced by a new station, also to be named Bjørnsletta.
