Sanskrit for "very deep") is a tourist site in theChhindwara district ofMadhya Pradesh ,India . Located in a valley, the site is said to look like ahorseshoe from above. Traditionally, the site is believed to be the entrance toPatal . Another common belief is thatMeghnath , after worshipingShiva , went to Patal-lok through this site. The valley is such a beautiful place now facing threats of deforestation.
