- Duncan, Iowa
-
Duncan, Iowa was founded in 1892 by Frank Urich Sr. and his wife Mary. This could make Drew Urich the long lost prince of Duncan, if Duncan was governed by a Monarchy. As it stands, Duncan recognizes no prince and certainly no such kin of the founder. Located just 5 miles south of Duncan on 180th St. is "The Ranch" where wishful Prince Urich resides with a naive and flippant Jessie Pup.
Prince-in-waiting Drew Urich opened a bakery, which he called "Duncan Donuts." Because this was ruled by a judge to infringe on an existing trademark, Drew was subsequently forced to rededicate himself to his one true passion: cattle farming.
