John W. Reynolds (April 4, 1921ndash January 6, 2002), a member of the Democratic Party, was an American politician and federal judge. He served as the 36th governor of Wisconsin.

John Reynolds was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He was the state attorney general from 1959 to 1963 and governor of Wisconsin from 1963 to 1965. He was then appointed in October 1965 as a U.S. District Judge for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, and he was chief judge from 1971 to 1986.
