Kill the Prez

Kill the Prez

"Kill the Prez" was a fictional computer game, seemingly for the Amiga computer platform, invented by the British home computer magazine "Amiga Power".

According to the magazine, the game is a graphical adventure game where you play an assassin, with the object of killing United States President John F. Kennedy. The magazine published several screenshots of the game, which were easily identifiable as crude mock-ups done with a desktop publishing program. Despite this, the magazine insisted the game was real, and even provided hints for completing it.

A real game called "" was released in 2004 by a Scottish computer game company, also with the assassination of John F. Kennedy being the main objective. This, however, was a realistic shooter game, rather than an adventure game.
