The 1935 European Basketball Championship, commonly called Eurobasket 1935, was the first
Eurobasket regional championship held byFIBA Europe as well as a test event preceding the first Olympic basketball tournament at the1936 Summer Olympics . Ten national teams affiliated with theInternational Basketball Federation (FIBA) took part in the competition. The event was hosted bySwitzerland and held inGeneva in May,1935 .Final rankings
