- Mocius also refers to Mozi of China.
Mocius (Mucius, died 288-295), also known as "the Holy Hieromartyr", was a priest in Amphipolis, Macedonia who became an Orthodox saint. Of Roman ancestry, he destroyed a statue of the god Dionysus and was beheaded. His feast day is May 11.[1]
