The field is currently used for recreational purposes and Georgia Tech's rugby union club team. The field is on a slight grade, so ends of the field are often referred to as uphill or downhill. Due to the slight grade, the field floods after rainstorms.

Georgia Tech has proposed an obstacle course to be built in the next couple of years.Fact|date=September 2008
