Larry Eustachy (born December 1, 1955 in Alameda, California) is the current head coach of The University of Southern Mississippi's men's basketball team. He was hired as head coach on March 25, 2004. He had previously been head coach of the men's basketball teams at Idaho (1990-1993), Utah State (1993-1998) and Iowa State (1998-2003). Eustachy won the AP National Coach of the Year after leading Iowa State to the Elite Eight in the 2000 NCAA Tournament.

In 2003, while serving as head coach of the Iowa State Cyclones, Eustachy made headlines in The Des Moines Register and around the nation by attending and being photographed drinking and kissing female students at a student party in Columbia, Missouri. The party occurred hours after his team lost to the University of Missouri. It was later learned that he had gone to a similar party on the campus of Kansas State University following a 2002 loss to the Wildcats. At the time, Eustachy was the State of Iowa's highest paid employee. Though Eustachy broke no laws, nor provisions of his contract, the matter played out like a scandal, and led to Eustachy's public admission of alcoholism. He subsequently resigned on May 5, 2003, receiving a $960,000 settlement from Iowa State. On January 9, 2008 he took a leave of absence to be with his ailing mother.
