Teeraal

Teeraal

In demonology Teeraal is the demon or spirit representing the passage from life to death and from death to life. He is a lesser Prince of Hell, having eight legions of demons under his command.

According to his origin in Babylonian and Assyrian mythology, he must be summoned at night or else he might appear invisible and play tricks with the conjurer. He gives information, sometimes very precise, about any possible enemies, and can bring death to all of the conjurer's enemies by taking their soul to Hell. Upon special request from the conjurer he can also bring a soul back into a body.If the summoner requests it, he can get protection against evil thoughts.

In medieval demonology, Teeraal is depicted as a monstruous spider with the head of a man and thirty-six eyes. In recent demonology, he is described as an awful man who is found crawling on floors and walls.
