Κalyvia or Kalivia (Greek: Καλύβια) is a village in
Laconia ,Greece , located on theBay of Skoutari . It is part of the municipalityGytheio . It is on the beach, and its economy is based on olives, olive oil and fishing. The town has aplateia and a cafe. It has a population of 50. Kalyvia is linked by a road encircling theMani Peninsula from Vathia. Farmlands and forests cover the valley areas around the village, although the greater surrounding area is hilly scrubland.
