Burwood Heights is a small suburb, inner-west of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It is located 12 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district and is situated within the local government area of Burwood Council.

Burwood Heights is a residential suburb with no shops, schools or any public buildings. The postcode is 2136, the same as neighbouring Enfield. Burwood is a separate suburb, to the north.

Population

According to the 2001 census, there were just under a thousand residents with around a quarter of them aged over 55 and 15% children aged 14 or under. Eighty-nine percent of the population were Australian citizens, slightly higher than the national average of 88%. Around a third of residents born overseas with 9.8% born in Italy and 3.2% born in Greece.
