Normanby is an area in the borough of
Redcar and Cleveland and theceremonial county ofNorth Yorkshire ,England . It is part of theMiddlesbrough Agglomeration but is not within the borough of Middlesbrough itself. It was historically part of the parish ofEston . It has a population of approximately 7,000 residents.It has a collection of small shops at the centre, including Roosters (a Chinese takeaway), Co-op and Tesco, Richard the Butcher, a small video shop, a pizza shop, a post office, a few bus stops, and the local newsagents formerly known as 'Maudes'.
