Lobal Orning was a record and book store located in the mountains north of the Pacific Coast Highway in a small community called Topanga, California, in the United States.

The shop is run by rock musician Justin Chancellor and his wife Shelee Dykman,cite web|url=http://www.la.com/shopping_and_beauty/5667806.html|title=Orning becomes eclectic|first=Alexandra|last=Le Tellier|publisher=LA.com] who coined "lobal orning" intended to mean "to decorate the mind". The word "Lobal" is in reference to the lobes of the brain and ears. The word Orning was created with "ornament" being it's root word. It is intended to be the verb form of the word "ornament"
