The Returnables

The Returnables

The Returnables were a Chicago, Illinois, United States, garage rock/power pop band that formed in Madison, Wisconsin, in the 1990s. Torchbearers of the power pop mod-punk revival movement that began in Chicago in the 1980's with Midwest power pop band Green. Two of their releases have been on Jeff Pezzati's (Naked Raygun) Jettison label.

The band was composed of guitarists Bobby James Lee Ray (John Glick) and Frankie Lee Ray (Jonathan Ben-Isvy), bassist Reggie Lee Ray (Bran Harvey), and drummer Arturo Lee Ray (Art Kubin). The band came to end when Glick was killed in an auto collision on July 14, 2005. Dirtnap Records released the posthumous "The Returnables" in March of 2006.cite web | last =| first =| title = returnables| publisher = TrouserPress.com | url = http://www.trouserpress.com/entry.php?a=returnables| accessdate = 2007-01-07]
