History and organization

The IoMFA are based at The Bowl, Pulrose Road, Douglas. They are responsible for the governance and development of all levels of football in the Isle of Man.

They run the Isle of Man Football League and Isle of Man Football Combination, both of which contain 27 clubs. The Combination is a league for each club's reserve teams. They also run various cup competitions such as the Manx FA Cup as well as womens, youth and school football on the island. The IoMFA Development Centre has various teams from Under-11 to Under-15 for boys and Under-12, Under-14 and Under-16 for girls.cite news

The IoMFA runs the Isle of Man national football team, which is ineligible to participate in full international competitions as it is not a FIFA or UEFA member. The team compete in competitions such as the FA run NLS Cup and the Isle of Man Tournament, an annual four team competition between the amateur FA teams of the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and the Isle of Man.cite news
