The station provides educational programing fromNASA , theFirst Amendment Center , theNational Association for Music Education , Minnesota Chamber Music, and the Annenberg Channel. UPTV produces live broadcasts of the meetings of the UrbanaCity Council , Community Development Commission, Historic Preservation Commission, Plan Commission, Zoning Board of Appeals, and the Human Relations Commission. On Tuesday, July 31st 2007 at 11:30 pm, despite a deluge of criticism and complaints, UPTV aired "Hate Laws", a video from anti-semitic pastor
Ted Pike . The program alleges a vast Jewish conspiracy, spear-headed by the ADL, to undermine the United States and spy on the American public. As of this writing, the management of UPTV has refused to address the controversy.References
