Adam Gino Bernero (born November 28 1976 in Los Gatos, California) is a Major League Baseball pitcher in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. Bernero has pitched in the majors for the Detroit Tigers, Colorado Rockies, Atlanta Braves, Philadelphia Phillies, Kansas City Royals. He has a career record of 11-27.In his first start with the Royals he pitched 5.2 innings allowing 7 hits and only one run, while striking out 5. He got the no-decision.In his second start with the Royals in the by|2006 season, he pitched 6 innings,allowed no runs and struck out 6.

Bernero signed with the Boston Red Sox for the by|2007 season, but missed the entire season after undergoing Tommy John surgery on March 1, 2007.
