USS Georgia

Two ships of the United States Navy (and two of the Confederate States Navy) have been named USS "Georgia" and CSS "Georgia" in honor of the fourth state.

*The USS|Georgia|SSBN-729, the fourth "Ohio"-class submarine, no longer serves as a ballistic missile submarine, but will be converted into a guided missile submarine (SSGN).
