Peter Berner is an
Australia ncomedian , and radio and television presenter.He has been involved in the Australian comedy scene since the 1990s. His live performance was developed in Sydney's comedy venues, and performing at the Melbourne's International Comedy Festival.
Berner made his major television debut in 1999, where he began hosting "
Backberner " on the ABC. This show screened until 2002.In 2001, a portrait of Berner was mounted in the
Archibald Prize , painted by Martine Emdur (TV hostLarry Emdur 's sister), titled "Laughing on the Inside". In 2005, Berner made a one-hour documentary called "Loaded Brush" in which he interviewed artists who had entered the Archibald multiple times. He was not successful.In 2004, he hosted the

Network 10 ) but was eliminated in the first round.Presently he is the host of the ABC television show "
The Einstein Factor " (since it stared in 2004), and was one of the hosts of theTriple M breakfast program "The Cage" which ended in 2007.Berner also appears as a celebrity contributor on the
Nine Network show "20 to 1 ".Berner is the number 2 ticketholder of the
Melbourne Football Club , after he chose to support the team when he moved to Melbourne from Sydney (anNRL dominated state).In 2008, Berner is the main host of "The Peter Berner Experiment" on
Triple M , which airs weekdays from 3pm until 4pm in Sydney and is networked to Brisbane and Melbourne from 6pm-7pm weekdays.External links
