Banque Centrale du Luxembourg, BCL) is the central bank of Luxembourg. It was founded in 1998, at the same time the European Central Bank was created, by laws dated April 22 and December 23. It is part of the European System of Central Banks (ESCB).
The head office of the Banque Centrale du Luxembourg is located on Boulevard Royal.
