Spanky G

Spanky G (born Michael Joseph Guthier on March 13, 1979 in Souderton, Pennsylvania) is the original and former drummer of the band The Bloodhound Gang.

Spanky left the band before the band's third album, "Hooray for Boobies" had been recorded in full. The official reason given was that he wished to finish his studies. Unofficially, the other members of the band (in particular bassist Evil Jared Hasselhoff) said it was due to musical inconsistencies caused by drug use (specifically marijuana and PCP). Spanky's reasoning was that his bandmates, in particular Hasselhoff, were rather cruel to him.

He was also the drummer for the band Bloodphart, which featured future Bloodhound Gang members Skip O'Pot2Mus and Hasselhoff. After Skip, Daddy Long Legs, MSG and Tard-E-Tard had all left the Bloodhound Gang (with Tard-E-Tard having replaced MSG), vocalist Jimmy Pop and lead guitarist Lüpüs Thünder decided to reform the group and reformulate their sound, with Spanky being added (he had already played on the last song on the band's first effort, "Use Your Fingers", "K.I.D.S. Incorporated," with Hasselhoff on bass).
