Bologna F.C. 1909 the next year, and had his Serie A debut againstGenoa 1893 on28 October 1990 . He played two seasons for Bologna, and then another one for Brescia, before joiningS.S. Lazio ofRome , in which he played from 1993-2005.Having joined
A.C. Siena in 2005, Paolo scored a dramatic 85th-minute goal for them to defeat Lazio 2-1 on the final day of the 2006-07 season; without it Siena would have been relegated toSerie B instead ofA.C. Chievo . He is also famous for an unlucky own goal scored against the main team of the city, Roma, on17 December 2000 . He left Siena in July 2007.In 1994 he had his debut for the
Italy national football team , in a match against Croatia. Negro played eight times with the "azzurri", and he was selected in Italy's national team for the2000 European Football Championship .External links
