- United States House of Representatives elections, 1804
The U.S. House election, 1804 was an election for the United States House of Representatives in 1804.
Under the popular reign of Thomas Jefferson, the president's party continued to gain seats in the House. Territorial and economic expansion both gave voters a positive view of the Democratic-Republicans, which eclipsed the 3/4 mark in terms of seat percentage. Following this election, Federalists held few seats outside of New England.
