International Academy of Quantum Molecular Science .He was well known for both his works in
spectroscopy andtheoretical chemistry . He was a pioneer in themolecular orbital calculations onsaturated hydrocarbon s and excitedaromatic molecules. He performed extensive works in both vibrational and electronic spectroscopy. He investigated in particular the effect ofhydrogen bonding on the anharmonicity of vibrations. He made also applications of biological interest.Honours
