Journal of the American Research Center in Egypt

The "Journal of the American Research Center in Egypt", or more commonly JARCE, is a scholarly journal (ISSN|0065-9991) published by the American Research Center in Egypt.

It was established in 1962 to publish research into the art, archaeology, languages, history, and social systems of the Egyptian people.

As is usual for Egyptological journals, JARCE accepts articles written in English, French, or German.

Long-standing editor John Foster retired in 2001, after eighteen years. The new editor of JARCE is Associate Professor Ann Macy Roth, of Howard University, Washington, DC, USA.
