Cazalet family. In 1967 he and his younger brother Michel opened "Le Gavroche ", Britain's first Michelin-starred restaurant, inLondon .Roux once made an appearance on the British sitcom "
Chef! " playing himself in the 1993 episode "The Big Cheese".In a poll of UK chefs carried out by "Caterer and Hotelkeeper" magazine in 2003, Albert and his brother Michel were voted the most influential chefs in the country. Albert Roux's son, Michel Roux Jr. is himself a two-starred Michelin chef and runs Le Gavroche restaurant in London.
