H Mart

H Mart (Korean: 한아름, Chinese: 韓亞龍)—which also markets itself as Han Ah Reum and Super H Mart —is a Korean supermarket chain with several locations in the United States and Canada. It specializes in imported Korean and Asian food and household goods, as well as a selection of Western products. Some locations feature video rental stations, from which members can rent videos or DVDs of Korean mini-series, television shows and movies as well as non-Korean entertainment dubbed or subtitled in Korean.

The first Han Ah Reum opened as a small corner grocery in Woodside, Queens, New York in September 1982. HAR Grand Corporation is now headquartered in Maspeth, New York and operates stores in British Columbia, California, Colorado, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, Georgia, Washington, Illinois, Texas, Atlanta,Ontario, Oregon, and Washington.

The company is personally owned by the family of former South Korean president, Chun Doo Hwan (전두환).
