"H2 The Mines of Bloodstone" is an Official Game Adventure or "module" for Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (1st edition).

It is a sequel to H1 Bloodstone Pass which although originally a stand alone adventure, was now to be the first in the four part Bloodstone Pass Saga. This module continued the generic campaign setting of H1, later modules in the series retconned Bloodstone into the Forgotten Realms.

The modules contains options for use of the (new at the time) Dungeoneer's Survival Guide and Wilderness Survival Guide Game Manuals. It also includes two battles where players command an army using the Battlesystem rules. For players without Battlesytem these battles can occur "off stage" while the players make a raid that otherwise occurs after the battles.

__NOTOC__

Plot

Following directly on from the defeat of the bandit army in a desperate war, a cold and bitter winter drive the villagers of Bloodstone to the edge of starvation, and numerous horrors strike the valley of Bloodstone Pass. The source is clear, The Mines of Bloodstone, but deep within the mines all is not what it seems...

While the module had some great ideas. Critics agree that having Lawful Evil Druegar worship Chaotic Evil Orcus was not among them. It should have been one of the Devil Lords. Also the maps were great but did not follow the descriptions of Druegar homelands in the Dungeoneer's Survival guide. Having too many structures built in the caves like Drow.
