Shelton, Shropshire

Shelton is a suburb of Shrewsbury in Shropshire, England.

It was once a village of its own, but the town of Shrewsbury has grown steadily in the area since the 1950s. It has a cricket team which plays in the Shropshire premier division.

Severn Trent Water have a major fresh water station by the River Severn, where water is taken from the river, cleaned and pumped into the town's water system for use by the public.
