town in theÚstí nad Labem Region of theCzech Republic , situated about 7 km west ofLouny . It has around 5,000 inhabitants.A monastery named "Porta Apostolorum" had been build in the 12th century, a name which developed into "Postelberg", as the remaining settlement it was called by the local German-speaking population of Bohemia that was expelled in 1945.
The villages Březno, Dolejší Hůrky, Hradiště, Levonice, Malnice, Mradicem, Rvenice, Seletice, Seménkovice, Skupice, Strkovice and Vrbka are administrative parts of Postoloprty.
