EEF the manufacturers organisation

EEF, the manufacturers' organisation, (EEF) is a political advocacy association of UK manufacturing, engineering and technology-based businesses and represents the interests of manufacturing at all levels of government. Formerly known as the Engineering Employers' Federation, EEF is the largest sectoral employers organisation in the UK. It has a membership of around 6,000 businesses.

Aims

* EEF provides political representation on behalf of UK businesses in the engineering, manufacturing and technology-based sectors, lobbying government, MPs, regional development agencies, MEPs and European Insitutions.
* EEF provides members with advice, guidance and support in employment law, employee relations, health and safety, environmental management, information and research and education and skills.
* EEF delivers training, consultancy and other services in all of these areas to help businesses manage compliance with their legal obligations and to improve business performance.

Membership

Membership of EEF is corporate: organisations and companies are members, not the individuals nominated to represent them.
