WJBO (1150 AM) is a News/Talk formatted radio station licensed to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Clear Channel Communications station broadcasts with an ERP of 5 kW-Unlimited power.

History

AM 1150 was originally WAAB and was licensed to New Orleans, Louisiana. In 1934 the frequency moved to Baton Rouge and became WJBO under the ownership of the Manship family until it was acquired by Clear Channel in the 1990s.The FCC has granted WJBO a power increase which will boost the daytime power to 15 kW. The upgrade is expected to be in place by the Winter of 2008.
