* "Charm City," episode 124, is the first part of a two-part crossover with the episode "For God and Country." It is the first of three such crossover episodes with Homicide.
* The season finale episode "Aftershock" was the first and so far only episode of the entire "Law & Order" series to not feature a case and instead focus on the characters' private lives. Claire Kincaid is killed in a car accident, injuring Detective Lennie Briscoe.
