Warrener was drafted in the second round, 27th overall by the
Florida Panthers in the1994 NHL Entry Draft . He played for Florida from 1995 to 1999. OnMarch 23 ,1999 , he was traded to theBuffalo Sabres . He played for the Sabres until he was traded to Calgary onJuly 3 ,2003 . Warrener has been part of three teams which lost in the Stanley Cup Finals: the1996 Florida Panthers ,1999 Buffalo Sabres and the2004 Calgary Flames .Along with
Mike Commodore , he played a role inPaul Brandt 's music video, "Convoy", as a truck driver.On
June 26 ,2008 Calgary placed him on waivers for the purpose of freeing up space for the salary cap.He is currently with the Calgary Flames.
