Lesley Sharp (born in 1964 in Liverpool) is an English actress from Formby, Merseyside. She is best known for various starring roles in British television productions, most notably "Clocking Off", "The Second Coming" and "Afterlife".

She also starred alongside Bill Nighy and Stephen Moore in the acclaimed radio drama [http://www.jameswoolf.com/page19.htm"Kerton's Story] ". Her stage credits include a 1982/3 Royal Shakespeare Company production of "Macbeth".

In 2008 she played the lead character in the play Harper Regan at Royal National Theatre.

Sharp trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She has two sons.

In September 2008 she appeared alongside Kevin Whately in the ITV1 3-Part drama series The Children.
