Sean Devereux

Sean Devereux, aka Mr. Sean, was an English Salesian missionary and aid worker who worked with children from Liberia and Somalia. He was shot dead in Kismayu, Somalia in 1993 while working for UNICEF. A fuller biography can be found on the official [http://www.seandevereux.org.uk/sean/ Sean Devereux Children's Fund] website.Sean was a loving man who cared for others that needed help even when over in Somalia and Liberia when the guards told him to not come over with his help and food he still came over and gave his help and food. The guards said they do not want to share food with their enemies but Sean took no notice and stayed to make sure the food was given out and not stolen by the guards of the forces. Before he went to work with children he worked at Sacred Heart High School.
