The Foundation For Young Australians (or FYA) is an Australian non-profit organisation committed to empowering and supporting the lives of young Australians aged from 12 to 25. It was formed in 2000, when The Australian Youth Foundation and The Queen’s Trust for Young Australians merged.
The FYA's vision is for communities celebrating and strengthening young people.
Funding Opportunities
There are many funding opportunities from the FYA, opening at different times of the year. These include:
Launch Pad Grants Launch Pad Grants is a two-stage grant to support community development initiatives designed and delivered locally by young people based on a partnership model. Young people will work with a local community organisation to identify and prioritise local youth needs and develop an innovative and responsive initiative.
Spark Fund The Spark Fund provides funding support for young people aged 12-25 years to ‘ignite an innovative idea’ which makes a positive contribution to the community and enhances their skills and experiences.
Robert Riley Scholarships Supporting the education of Indigenous youth in the fields of human rights and law.
