Grimsby, Ontario is served byVIA Rail trains and the joint VIA-Amtrak Maple Leaf train connecting it withToronto ,Niagara Falls andNew York City .The station is an accessible, unstaffed, but heated shelter beside the tracks. Parking is free.
Formerly, Grimsby was served by a staffed
Grand Trunk Railway station, which was also concurrently in use as a restaurant. This historic station was destroyed by a fire in the early 1990s.The original Great Western Railway station survives across from the present Grimsby Station, and is presently used as commercial business.
