The resultant company is currently headquartered in Columbus, Ohio and in Zurich, Switzerland, with offices for its many brands based around the world.
METTLER TOLEDO is the brand name whereas Mettler-Toledo (with dash) is the name of the company.

Divisions
Mettler-Toledo has several North American operating divisions.
Mettler-Toledo Inc.
Mettler-Toledo Inc. is the company’s North American weighing division. This division has three different business markets. These are:
Laboratory – products for this market include precision weighing equipment and analytical instruments. Including, but not limited to precision balances, analytical balances, micro balances (ranging to weights of .0000001 grams), moisture balances, automatic titration systems (standard and Karl Fischer), pH meters, conductivity meters, refractivity meters, density meters, and materials characterization instrumentation.
Industrial – products for this market include floor scales, bench scales, counting scales, in-motion check weighing scales, vehicle scales, and weigh modules for tank and hopper conversions. They also provide equipment for hazardous areas. This group also sells Statistical Quality Control software, formulation software, vehicle scale software, and batching systems. Their line of weighing terminals provides a broad range of functionality and connectivity (to PLCs) options.
Retail – this division provides scales for the food retail industry. These range from counter service scales for the deli and meat counters, labeling scales for a meat room, and full service wrapping and labeling machines.

Mettler-Toledo Cargoscan
Mettler-Toledo Cargoscan products are sold by Mettler-Toledo sales organisations around the world. Cargoscan, (based in Oslo, Norway) produces dimensioning, weighing and scanning solutions for the transport and logistics industry. These systems are designed to determine the dimensional weight of parcels and pallets for correct invoicing and improved productivity. RAININ Instrument

Mettler-Toledo AutoChem

Mettler-Toledo Process Analytics
Within the METTLER TOLEDO Group, the Process Analytics division concentrates on analytical measurement solutions for industrial manufacturing processes. The division consists oftwo business units: Ingold and Thornton, both internationally recognized leaders in their respective markets and technologies.
Ingold (Urdorf, Switzerland) is a worldwide leader in pH, dissolved and gaseous oxygen, CO2, conductivity and turbidity solutions for process analytical measurement systems in chemical, food & beverage, biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.
Thornton (Bedford, USA) is the leader in pure and ultrapure industrial water monitoring instrumentation used in semiconductor, microelectronics, pharmaceutical, and biotech applications (like in-line measurement of conductivity,resistivity, TOC and ozone in determining and controlling water purity.
Mettler-Toledo Hi-Speed
This group produces conveyor and scale systems for high speed check weighing, often used for product inspection. These are regularly used for can and bottle weighing in production. Based in Ithaca, NY, USA
Mettler-Toledo Garvens
This group produces conveyor and scale systems for high speed check weighing, often used for product inspection. These are regularly used for can and bottle weighing in production. Based in Germany
Mettler-Toledo Safeline

Mettler-Toledo CI-Vision
This division produces in-motion vision systems for use in production, this division was formed when Mettler Toledo acquired Illinois based CIVision, purchasing it outright from the founder, Chuck Stone, on 31st December 2009.
