Tim Gardam

Tim Gardam

Tim Gardam is a British journalist and educator. He is the son of the novelist Jane Gardam. He studied at Westminster School and gained a double first in English from Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge. He subsequently worked at the BBC (where he created "Timewatch" and edited "Newsnight"), and as director of programmes at Channel 4. He was then appointed by the Department of Culture, Media and Sport to lead a review of digital television in Britain.

He is currently Principal of St. Anne's College, Oxford and a Senior Member of student publishing house OSPL.
