Vermont Voltage are an American
soccer team, founded in1997 . The team is a member of theUnited Soccer Leagues Premier Development League (PDL), the fourth tier of theAmerican Soccer Pyramid , and plays in the New England Division of the Eastern Conference against teams from Cape Cod, Manchester, Ottawa and Providence. During their first season, in 1997, they were known as the Vermont Wanderers.The Voltage play their home games at the
Collins-Perley Sports Complex in the city ofSt. Albans, Vermont , 27 miles north of the state's largest city, Burlington. The team's colors are black and white, and gold and blue.The club also has a sister organization,
