The statue depicts workers representing the several divisions of the company. The base of this statue slowly rotates so that different figures are presented successively.

Benefits

Sonoco provides a highly competitive benefits package including, medical, dental, 401(k), flexible spending accounts, employee assistance program, defined contribution pension plan and vacation.

Sonoco uses Blue Cross Blue Shield and has one of the better arrays of employee healthcare plans in the region. The only downside to Sonoco's healthcare plan is the decision to use mail order only for maintenance medication which puts a strain on lower income families due to the minimum three month prescription requirement. This decision has also had an impact on the community with several independent pharmacies closing as a result.Fact|date=September 2008
