Brampton, Suffolk

Brampton is a village in Suffolk, England, located approximately four miles north east of Halesworth, five miles (8 km) south of Beccles and nine miles (14 km) south west of Lowestoft. The mid-2005 population estimate for Brampton with Stoven parish was 460 [http://www.suffolk.gov.uk/NR/rdonlyres/38314C3E-02A0-4515-92FE-8909C6FDB3A3/0/Parishestimates01to05.pdf] .

The village is served by Brampton railway station, which is approximately 1½ miles away, on the Ipswich-Lowestoft East Suffolk Line.

Brampton Primary School serves the village and the surrounding area.

The Latitude music festival takes place at Henham Park convert|3|mi|km south of Brampton.
