She was awarded theArjuna award in 2000 and theRajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna jointly with Beenamol for 2002–2003. She representedIndia at the2000 Sydney Olympics ,2004 Athens Olympics , and the2008 Beijing Olympics , though she couldn't win a medal.
