"Beyond the Rainbow" (1922) is a silent film and is the first film of actress Clara Bow.

After submitting her photo in a magazine contest, Clara was declared national winner and won a part in this film. Her acting was deemed so amateurish, however, that her scenes were cut before the film's release. When she became a star, her scenes were reinstated and the film was re-issued. ynopsis

Virginia Gardner, a flapper girl, is left out of a fashionable party thrown by her mother (Helen Ware). To get revenge, she plays a joke by passing out notes to some of the guests reading, "Consult your conscience. Your secret is common gossip." This message sends a number of people into a panic during the party, and a shot rings out, wounding one of the men.
