suburb south of thecity of Sharjah,United Arab Emirates . The suburb is located on theAl Khan Bay , which serves as a boundary between Sharjah andDubai .Al Khan is an old
suburb and was almost atown in the beginning of the 20th century. Its residents were mainly members of theAl swdan andAl abu muhair tribes, who form part of theBany yas tribe. The town was known as a commercial hub forbedouin goods trading and as a summer destination forDubai residents. Currently, the suburb has been converted into a part of the city and has a lot of commercial and residential waterfront developments.References
