- Tustna
Tustna is a former municipality in the county of
Møre og Romsdal ,Norway . The administrative centre wasGullstein .It was originally a part of Edøy
formannskapsdistrikt , which had its origin in Edøy parish ( _no. prestegjeld). A meeting held on17 March 1863 decided to build a church in Tustern (which was the name at that time) and thereby gain status as a separate parish. A royal resolution of3 May 1873 directed that Tustern be separated from Edøy to create a separate municipality. This happened on1 January 1874 . The new municipality had a population of 1,179.On
January 1 ,1965 a small part of Tustna with 85 inhabitants was moved to Aure. OnJanuary 1 ,2006 Tustna was merged with Aure. In 2004 Tustna had a population of 1,015.References
