St. James Lutheran Church (Newton, North Carolina)

St. James Lutheran Church is a member church of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America located close to Newton, North Carolina. St. James was founded in 1867 and currently has about 500 members.

St. James is a founding member of the Eastern Catawba County Cooperative Christian Ministry. St. James also hosts Men's and Women's groups and Boy Scout and Girl Scout groups.
