The Gozo Football Association (GFA) is the body that co-ordinates and organises football (soccer) on the island of Gozo. Formed in 1936 they organise the Gozo Football League, which is split into two divisions,the First Division and the Second Division. They also organise the G.F.A. Cup, the Independence Cup, the Freedom Day Cup, the BOV Super Cup, the Second Division Knock-Out, the Second Division Challenge Cup, the Under-21s League and from last season the Female League. They organise as well the national team of Gozo
The GFA also ran the Gozo FC which as of the next season will be playing in the Maltese Second Division after winning convincingly the Maltese Third Division Section B were from 16 matches they recorded 15 wins and a draw. Currently there are 14 Gozitan clubs and the Gozo Youth FA affilated with the associtation. On the other hand it is a member association of the Malta Football Association.
The GFA's main premises are located at the Gozo Stadium, which was previously known as the "Silver Jubilee Ground". These are situated at Mgarr Road, Xewkija. The Gozo FA is not a member of the UEFA or FIFA but is a provisional member of the NF-Board.
